Music has always played an important part in the lives of the "Nettles Family". Every generation of Nettles
keeps the "MUSIC" alive!
Late 1800's thru 1930's - During the early days, Jessie Hiram Nettles entertained his family
with his Fiddle Music.
Early 1900's thru mid 1970's - Jessie's son, John Carlo "J.C." Nettles kept the Family Traditon alive
with his musicial talents. He played the Fiddle & Banjo!
Mid 1900's thru Present - Several of J.C. Nettles' sons "L.C., Jimmy, Roy, William & Earl, played
their hearts out on many various instruments. Most all of J.C.'s boys sang and played any instrument you put in front of them.
Several of J.C.'s daughters could sing very well.
Generation after Generation, the "Nettles" carry on the Music and keep "PLAYING & SINGING"!-
Many, many of J.C. Nettles' grandchildren & great-grandchildren are also excellent Musicians & Singers.
